Hey, could you email me? I wanted your take on the US Spec PA 15 Toy. I know you got the 12 (the 15 replaced it). Are you able to charge/play? Sound quality?
Any problems using the 6 disc in-dash changer after connecting it?
Their website isn’t really good and this was the best info I’ve found on the net.
Thanks and I hope to hear from you.

thanks for the instructions! could you also post a few more details/images of the actual installation of the ipod Adaptor? Since there is no ‘Aux’ button on the radio’s panel, i was wondering how you switched from radio to your ipod and vice versa.
thanks in advance

That was great, looked for 3 days for this link…started to think that nobody else owned a corolla and wanted to do stuffs to it…but i still have a question…was taking the ac knobs and the whole wiring necessary…i mean couldn’t you just take the top part off (radio and the 2 air vents) out only.it looked like a whole lotta work just to access the radio, when the top looked like it came out without a fight.
Well my situation is, that im trying to install a handsfree bluetooth device, that’s going to use the radio speaker, and obviously i need to reach the back part of the radio. please please please advise,as i see this blog is almost a year old.

then again it’s all necessary…i revised the steps and im gonna need to run wires down behind the AC unit.can’t be done if the whole thing isnt out…i’ll come back for update.

thanks that was very helpful!!! i’m going to be replacing my stock head unit with a touch screen navagtion radio unit. same exact car and color as your. i would have never known that all that was required, and i would have probably broke something. so i appreciate you time and explaination greatly, Thanks again

Thanks! Worked like a charm. I also popped off the AC/fan controls (but didn’t disconnect it) to get a little more room to work.

Instead of “knobs on the A/C panel”, the Corolla Allex has push buttons. How would this removal differ: http://www.findjapancars.com/search/japanese_cars/TOYOTA-ALLEX-2050013196.html Thanks
