Ohhhh…those silly kids over at Apple. If you don’t get why this is funny to me then it’s better for the both of us for you to just move on to the next blog post.

To combine two or more contacts in Adium simply hold the “command” key and click and drag one contact to the other. Done!

So Last Tuesday i got received my new MacBook Pro from work. Every two years we get new computers and this time around i decided to go with something a bit different.

First Impressions:

the unibody design is very clean and styleish (no surprise there)

the back lit keyboard: cool for dark computing (something im not used to having with the IBM and the HP laptops that i have had in the past)

the new multi-touch track pad is very nice and responds very well to all the finger movements.

Battery life is pretty awesome. 7 hours is just nuts! im pretty impressed with this feature.

The Bad:

i have downgraded as far as screen resolution. so even though i have the same size screen as my last laptop (15.4) i cant fit as much crap on the screen as i used to.

i did an update to OSX and it hung in at the end of the process. i had to do a “hard” shutdown to get out of it. (i thought this was only a windows thing)

some how i lost admin right to my account. so now i cant install new software. i promise i did not mess around with any account settings. (again…i thought that this was a windows thing.)

and some other stuff that i cant think off right now.

so anyhow ill continue to post about my mac experience and find out if im sold or not / recommend them or not.

so far its they are not worth the money… but this can change. ill do my best to be as objective as possible.
